Introducing 'Lazy Bones'!

Wednesday, November 21, 2012

You've been asking so here they are - pictures of our new floating home - 'Lazy Bones'.  We are still in the process of designing the name sticker. Lazy Bones is a 2008 Lagoon 420 catamaran and is 12m/42 ft long. She is an owner's version which means there are three queen bedrooms with the master occupying an entire hull. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and shower - perfect for company!

Outdoor area at the back of the boat - seats 8 comfortably for dinner and is perfect for sunset drinks!

The Helm Station. We are installing a Raymarine chart plotter, which will sit squarely here and will assist in getting us from A to B safely!
Entertaining area at the bow with my hammock in perfect position. It's difficult to see but there are seats that run the width of the boat which are built into the mould of the boat.

The 'galley' - where the cuisine magic happens!

View from the galley. One of the biggest reasons I was sold on the Lagoon layout was the sliding window between the galley and the back dining area. It has a beautiful indoor/outdoor living feel to it, not to mention we have a lot of light compared to a monohull.

The other 2 bedrooms and bathrooms are similar to the one above but are currently housing all of our building material so you'll have to use your imaginations!
